We have had some cold Thursdays so far this year, but no snow to put us off so our workdays have continued. There have been no new donations but a lot of items from the material bequeathed to us have been catalogued and a lot more sorted. We still have a long way to go. All the boxes have been packed away in the cupboard and can be brought out one at a time for sorting. We have room to move about now even if we are not quite tidy. A committee meeting is planned for the beginning of February to start getting ready for this year’s exhibition. The next job will be cleaning.
The items below are just two of the many pictures and photographs catalogued during January.
One of the original paintings for the Millennium Tapestries
The Rushden Wesleyan Reform Mission Band 1911
The most popular photo on Facebook in January is this one of Wellingborough Road showing the top of Station Road with the bakery on the corner.
The most popular photo on Instagram in January is this one of the Motor Ambulance outside the Lightstrung Garage.
