On Saturday 28 July 2018 Councillor Barbara Jenney, accompanied by her husband David, presented Rushden Museum with a cheque for £200.  Councillor Jenney said that at the end of her year as mayor she had made donations to her chosen charities and found she had £200 still remaining.  She said she realises how committed all the volunteers at the museum are and how hard they all work, and that the museum is an asset to the town.  She was very pleased, therefore, to be able to present the cheque for £200 to the Rushden Museum.  The cheque was received by our president, Clive Wood, watched by chairman Peter Field, committee member Kay Collins, and new volunteer Jamie.
