Since the museum closed in November last year we have been working one day a week getting ready for this year’s exhibition.   Once the dismantling was finished a lot of work was done behind the scenes, but at last we are able to start putting the exhibition together.  Progress seems slow, and as usual we are working in total chaos.  We are not in panic mode yet but watch this space!!

Part of the exhibition for this year will be WWI 1918 and we are hoping to show the impact the whole of the war had on Rushden. The other part of the exhibition will be the Co-op in Rushden.  We have a collection of really good photos which will stir a lot of memories, as there were Co-op stores all over the town.   The exhibition will open on 5 May 2018.

If you have any items relating to WWI or to the Co-op, which you are prepared to loan to us for the season, or photos we can copy, we would love to hear from you. You can email us at:
