The Tours of Rushden Hall, our contribution to Nene Valley Festival Week, were popular again this year. It was a beautiful day to show off the Hall and everyone seemed to enjoy the tour. Our thanks go to Clive for giving his time, to all the people who supported us, and to Rushden Town Council for keeping an eye on the bookings for us.

What a beautiful house, easy to see how it inspired H E Bates to use it as the setting for his novel “Love for Lydia”. A shame the tarmac drive is so municipal and hasn’t been softened by rolling some crushed golden stone on when the tar was still wet.
Hi Andrew, Yes, it is a beautiful house and park. We are lucky to have it. It has been through some difficult times, but is now well used and well cared for. Gill
