The Tour of Rushden Hall with Clive Wood, which should have taken place on 14 September, has been rescheduled for Thursday 6 October. The tour will be followed by tea/coffee and cake in the Hall.

The tour lasts about an hour.

Learn about the history of the Hall and the families who have lived there, including the Pembertons (1461-1641) and the Sartoris family who lived in the Hall from 1843 to 1929. The Hall and grounds were bought by Mr. Morris Wheeler of Bexley, Kent, who then sold it to Rushden Urban District Council for £5,000. The Hall Park was opened to the public in September 1930.

The tour starts at 2 p.m., meet at the Museum which will be open from 1.30 p.m.

Tickets are £5 per person and can be picked up at Rushden Museum during normal opening hours, Saturday and Sunday 2 p.m. – 4 p.m., or email: info@rushdenmuseum.co.uk.
