We were all saddened to learn of the death, on Tuesday 9 February, of Tony (Bruno) Helsdown. He was a good Friend of Rushden Museum, playing a major part in the development of the museum in the early years. In 2009 he helped with the work of extending the museum, (as shown in the picture above), removing one wall almost completely on his own.

He was president of Rushden Museum from 2011 – 2013, and has remained a ‘Friend.’ Our thoughts are with his family at this sad time.
