At Rushden Museum we have been lucky to receive a grant from Nenescape Landscape Partnership Scheme to purchase archival quality packaging materials. This will enable us to repack and reorganise our storeroom and to make sure all the artefacts are stored properly and that they are in good condition. To help us to carry out this work over the winter months we have a team of volunteers, but before we can start on the project we had to have a short training session with a presentation put together by our chairman, Peter Field. This was attended by most of the volunteers on the afternoon of Thursday 15 November 2018, so now we are all set to start the work on Thursday 22 November. Watch this space for progress reports.
