At Rushden Museum, on Thursday 22 November 2018, we started work on the project to repack and reorganise our storeroom, thanks to the grant from Nenescape Landscape Partnership Scheme and our team of volunteers. Moving things from old boxes to new archival boxes sounds quite straightforward, but of course it isn’t because items don’t always fit in the new boxes and the new boxes don’t always fit in the space of the old box. The first session was always going to be a bit difficult, and there was a lot of moving things from one place to another, but progress was made. Two more sessions are planned for next week when hopefully things will be a bit easier!
